MUNNAR HILLS

Munnar is called the Kashmir of South India" and is a popular honeymoon destination. This small beautiful town played an important role in Kerala‘s tourism map. The major attraction of this town is its nature and chilled climate. Its a beautiful hill station on Western Ghats mountain ranges located in the Idukki District. Munnar is situated at around 1,600 meters (5,200 ft) above sea level in the Western Ghats mountain range. The nearest railway station from Munnar is at Aluva, which is at a distance of 110 kilometres from Munnar.
