    Paravur Lake

    Paravur Kayal is a lake in Paravur, Kollam region, Kerala, India. Although it is little, with a region of just 6.62 km², it is the end purpose of the Ithikkara River and part of the arrangement of lakes and trenches that make up the Kerala Backwaters. It has been associated with Edava and Ashtamudi Kayal as a component of the Trivandrum Shoranur waterway framework since the late nineteenth century. The lake meets the ocean and in the middle of a little stretch of street which isolates them can be seen on way. Paravur Lake is one of the developing visitor goals in the region which draws in a decent number of tourists.
