Sasthamkotta Lake

The Sasthamkotta Lake is one of the biggest freshwater lakes in Kerala, with an attractive village nearby. Surrounded by hills and forests, the temple has thousands of monkeys living in the premises, the existence of whom is considered holy. These monkeys are believed to be the faithful followers of the ruling deity.
